Celebrated as one of North India's finest late-season mangoes, Chausa is loved for its rich golden-yellow pulp, intense aroma, abundant juice, and almost fiberless texture. Harvested from carefully selected orchards and ripened naturally without calcium carbide or harmful chemicals, every mango delivers the authentic taste of the Indian summer.

At Staple Kaka, we work directly with trusted farmers to ensure complete traceability, freshness, and purity. Every Chausa mango is handpicked at the right stage of maturity, allowing it to develop its signature honey-like sweetness and fragrance naturally. Whether enjoyed fresh, blended into smoothies, or served as a dessert, Chausa offers an unforgettable mango experience.

The Chausa mango has a history that dates back over 500 years and is closely associated with the town of Chausa in Buxar district, Bihar. According to popular historical accounts, the variety earned its name after the historic Battle of Chausa, where Sher Shah Suri defeated Humayun in 1539. It is believed that Sher Shah Suri was so impressed by the exceptional sweetness and aroma of the local mangoes that he named the variety "Chausa" in honor of the place.

Over the centuries, Chausa mangoes spread from Bihar to other parts of North India, particularly Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, where the favorable climate helped the variety flourish. Today, Chausa is one of India's most celebrated late-season mangoes, typically available from July to early August.
